About Lanino

Built on performance contracts since 2001

Lanino has been involved in road marking since the early 1980s, and in performance-based contracts since they were first introduced in South Africa in 2001. Facing the tough requirements of performance contracts, the company began manufacturing its own paint in 2001, learning to produce paint that is easy to apply while meeting day, night and wet-night visibility requirements and outperforming durability specifications.

What began as LANINO CC in 1995 was incorporated as Lanino Traffic Markings (Pty) Ltd in 2002, and has grown into the company of choice for performance-based road marking, tested on roads carrying more than 200 000 vehicles per day.

Health and safety considerations sit at the centre of Lanino’s operational decisions, supported by regular staff training and medical fitness screening. Lanino has implemented a construction management system aligned to SANS 1393:2013, covering ISO 45001 health and safety, ISO 9001 quality, and ISO 14001 environmental management, conforming to the CIDB Best Practice Contractor Recognition System.
